instaling after market stero in 98 Ford Explorer Sport.?

instaling after market stero in 98 Ford Explorer Sport. Will it need a atena adapter? Will the factory amp work with the after market wire harness? I just got this truck how do I know if its Premium factory stero I do know it is a I do know it has a Mach audio systum thats whats on the amp
