Inside (&#00-96;l'int豩eur) Finally Getting a Region 2 DVD Release!

This is one of the best horror films of the past few years and it's finally getting a Region 2 release two years after it came out everywhere else (no sign of Blu Ray though:(). To be honest i thought it would be cut, as anyone who's seen it will tell you it's pretty grisly and the US rental version had nearly 10 minutes removed, but with a running time of 79 minutes it seems to be intact (the R1 Unrated version runs to 82 minutes, but it's probably just PAL speed up as the BBFC site lists it as passing without cuts).

The cover is better than the US one too (which pretty much gave away the ending!).

Seriously, if you like horror that is psychological as well as featuring bucket loaRAB of gore then this is definitely for you. The main antagonist freaked me out for weeks, especially when you watch it back and you notice her in places you never saw her before. The scene in the living room where she backs slowly away into the darkness is one of the creepiest scenes i've ever witnessed.
 
Martyrs was released uncut here I believe, so don't see why Inside should be cut. I have it on Region 1 but good to finally see it released, what took so long?

The Region 2 cover is similar in design to the French release but more white in colouring.

I still actually prefer the Region 1 design. :p
 
Inside is actually quite 'schlocky' and dare I say it, brutal but brilliant fun. I watched it JUST after I had my little boy as I thought it probably wasn't the best film to watch whilst up the stick.

I personally prefer Martyrs and found the actual gore element much more horrific. Martyrs is pure existentiallist HORROR and one of my favourite films of the year.
