inoperable use of a smoke detector court summons?

ok i got arrested for traffic charges and got on bail my bail officer is a royal asshole and couldnt find anything on me to charge me with so he said since one of my smoke detector wasnt hooked up its against the law and gave me a sumon for court it a 50-500 dollar fine i have ever been charged with nything the traffic charges are for a month so i have a clean record will the judge just drop this see how stupid it is im 19 btw and its the only thing im going in for tommorow
