Ok so my so to be hubby is enlisting in the army very soon and im pretty concerned about his safety, I told him its a great choice and he would be doing something really good for himself as long as he really investigated what he was really signing up to do and understood the possibility's of what the outcome might be. Im going to support him in his decision to enlist and become one of our troops. So basically my question is...
I hear alot of the army don't even actually go to war because its such a huge branch, is this really true?
He took the practice placement test (not sure what its called) and scored high in mechanics, is there even a way with that profession he would not be in combat?
Can you have the recruiter's or someone sign a paper saying a he is definitely going to a school later?
I have alot of questions but I just really want to know from someone whos been in or has been a wife of the army whats it really about?
