Ingrown hair?

I have a small red bump on the edge on my bikini line (where My leg meets my vagina) and I am freaking out over what it is. It's painfull but not horrible. I do shave and I have heard that can cause an ingrown hair. I can't see any hair but it's not exactly in the easiest place to look. It's only one red bump. Is this an ingrown hair and has anyone else had this and it was an ingrown hair?please shed some light on the situation I am kinda germophobic and this is freaking me out!

It is probably either an ingrown hair or an infected hair root. In either case swab it with an antiseptic lotion and, if it is still up and red, prick it with a sterile needle and let it drain.

What is the possibility of it being a wart. Is that what they look like?? Can they be that far out?
