Information control or normal deletions --- Yahoo's expired news articles?

Look something up from a month ago on a news search . The title will appear most of the time but the link goes to a page which says "Page expired"


They will often change the headlines of an article and run it a second time with none of the old comments on it Sometimes they will change the headline many times deleting the comment section each time

Some articles do not allow any comment Some start out allowing comments and then change to no longer allow any at all or show the older comments

Is this just the normal deletion and information control we should be used to by now ................ or information control that we should begin worrying about?
 
I don't know, but I've seen the same things here, and on other news sites as well. What I think is really strange is that I have actually gone back to an article to use as a source, and the specific info I was going for has been removed from the text of the article. That's pretty creepy. Makes you wonder doesn't it?
