Info about college and the military?

Well I've been wanting to join the military for a couple years now, Army or USMC, and that was what I was goin to do. But Ive got a free ride to college for all 4 years. I was thinking about goin to college for 2 years, then joining the military for the minimum. Then use my gi bill to pay for the rest of college, plus I would have money saved from the military to have a better time at college. Then maybe goin back in as an officer after college. Does this sound like a good idea or not. Thankyou
