Unfortunately I do not have the means to see a Professional so im seeking the help of the community here.
I was using a straight razor blade to scrape off some epoxy. I managed to slip and cut almost down to the bone on the side of my pointer finger toward the base of the fingure. So this all happened about 2 weeks ago. Ive done my best to keep it clean and covered. It has healed shut and is almost completely healed but the area is swollen and itches bad!. I try to put preoxide on it and it burns bad so i figure its infected. How can i treat this? do i need to reopen the wound and clean it?
