I'm an officer for my school's chapter of Alpha Gamma Sigma, which is the California community college scholastic honor society. I'd like to give gifts to the other officers before we start the new semester, but I'm not sure what to get. I'd like to get everyone the same thing, and I'd prefer it to be a DIY project, not too expensive as there are 10 of us total and I've got quite a few other gifts to buy. Being a poor college student, inexpensive is definitely the way to go, but I don't want the gifts to seem super cheap, and I want them to be something that everyone would actually use. I was thinking I could tie it in with our club, since that's the only thing that everyone has in common. I was leaning towards 2010 planners, but even if they don't already have those, it's something that they could easily buy themselves. How could I uniquely and inexpensively customize a planner or make one from scratch for 9 other people? Or what are some other gift ideas that might work for this group? Since I won't be seeing them for several weeks, it's not something I need by Christmas, and so it doesn't need to be holiday themed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
