Incredible pain on top of my head! =[

Just moments ago I was wearing a some headphones and this extreme pain came from the surface of my head. I took my headphones off and inspected it and found that it is about a nickel in size. It only hurts when I touch it. I haven't bumped my head on anything and my girlfriend checked to see if it was swollen but there is no visible signs of any kind. I've never had this happen to me. The pain can be unbearable if touched. Help me!! I really have no idea what it is.

Well I don't know but am thinking about the volume you listen to when
wearing your headphones, frequency, vibration, irritating the nerves in
your head.

Thinking for a while stop using them, sort of a trial and error sequence.

Are U considering taking Ibuprofen or similar to see if any relief?

Thanks for the advice, I'll try and stop using the headphones for a while. So far after inspecting my head by touching it, the pain has significantly decreased. I did try some advil but I don't think it worked. I am not using any new hair products. Maybe I bumped my head on something and forgot about it? No idea, but I have to find out what it is. It felt like hammering a dull nail into my head.
 
I just had to comment on this- the same thing's been happening to me! I have a cleaning business and while cleaning throughout the day, I wear headphones. Sometimes the pain on top of my head gets so bad it hurts to lay down at night if I'm laying on that spot at all. There's no red spot there, no bump, nothing but it sure hurts. It's more like on my scalp. Doesn't really feel like it does when I've bumped my head- the scalp is just so sore. Weird
