Surely, as long as a child is loved by two parents then that is enough.
Of course it is preferable for people to stay together, but why does marriage mean that is more likely? Surely if a relationship is wrong it will fall apart with or without being married?
Is it really that awful to have babies that are 'illegitimate' as mine are? My boys live with Mummy and Daddy, and are incredibly loved and well looked after. What does it matter if we are married or not?
