in your opinion of sims 2 ps2 is free play or storymode better?

i've been playing free play but it's getting a little boring because there are not many lots i can move my families i create into and the lots are pretty basic, the only one i really like is the japanese-styled one.

:) so in your opinion which is better, free play or story mode?
 
Story mode because you can go to more lots,hehe but its boring when you lose friends
