In writing, what are SPAG rules?

I've had several editors tell me that I didn't have any SPAG errors. Another author had a few problems and the critic wrote, "I don't mean to insult or demean you but I saw enough mistakes to get me wondering if more study with SPAG related issues is something you might want to look at." I get the feeling it's an acronym, but for what?
