In which Jesse realizes she has to grow up.

I dropped out of high school, got my GED, worked in private nursing care then was floor manager for a nursing home, then went to college, then made top 10% sales three years in a row at dell, and now I write filler content for E-zines.

You can drop out of high school, but you need your GED and you need to be a self starter to go anywhere.

I've considered dropping out. The only thing that's really kept me from doing so is the fact that I'm almost into thirteen years of this. What a waste. That, and most employers will pick a person with a diploma over someone with a GED.

Many people go through this stage, I think. Life after school isn't much different. You have a bit more responsibility, and instead of school you go to work or university all day long. I can't really offer any advice because peoples' situations vary greatly, and what works for some will not work for all. I think I can correctly say that it is not something to be afraid of, because things don't change that much.

People stay the same for the most part, and the world stays the same. The only thing that changes is your place in it.
