accompaniment best? Dear all,

Note 1: This question is for people who have experience in meditating in Asian countries for longer periods.
Note 2: I'm looking for meditation monasteries. (No study)

In a couple of months I will go to Asia and spent my life in a buddhist monastery for a couple of years. When I proposed this and the countries Nepal and India to a paranormal adviser (in whom I have no doubt), he said that the meditation accompaniment/teachers weren't good, maybe he meant intensive, enough for me since my meditation progress seems to go very fast. Then he mentioned: "Tibet?"

Sub-question 1: Is it still possible for a foreigner to join a buddhist monastery in Tibet? (Because of the Cultural Revolution by China)

Sub-question 2: Am I right when I say that the relationship between teacher and novice is more important/intensive in Tibetan Buddhism than in other schools?

Main question: In which Asian countries/places/buddhist schools or monasteries is the meditation accompaniment best or most intensive?

Any effort made is really appreciated.

love,
