"you mean race card whining?" - No, I don't. A comment like this also assumes that "whiteness" is not a race and that whites therefore cannot "pull the race card." Whiteness is a race.
Clearly SOME of those opposed to illegal immigration are opposed to all non-white immigration.
And those like myself struggle to make clear the non-biggotted reasons to want only legal immigrant here.
One distiguishing thing. Non biggots opposed to illegal immigration want immigration reform. We want it to be easier for Mexicans to get here legally as well as kicking out the illegal ones.
