In what way were Ancient Egyptian and Classical Greek sculpture similar?

Classical Greek was very serene. Egyptian was very static. Neither were realistic. Egyptians didn't use contrapposto.

While it looks white today, the sculpture on the Parthenon still show evidence of polychrome paint. Egyptians used so much paint, you'd think they brought it in by tanker and pipeline.
