In what way do men false advertise (pre-purchase) like women?

Fancy clothes, clean appearance (which will most likely not be maintained once a relationship has been entered into), snazzy haircut (with bald bits hidden), cologne, fancy watch/jewelry, borrowed fancy car from friend, etc.

Once you remove these things, men are also totally different than how they first appear. Most people, male and female, use this "false advertising". What's the problem?

For instance, guy sees a pretty girl at the bar and is attracted to her... but after the hair, nails, makeup, high heels, spandex underwear, push up bra, tailored dress, and colored contacts come off, you end up with a totally different looking person.

What are some ways men do this equivalent thing, Physically?

You can't say personality cuz you can't possibly expect a personality from across the room the way you can look at a person's body and expect a certain level of quality.
sweetie: Dating is not a socialist society. Its not my mentality, i believe most men would be happier if women didn't wear all of those things to attract.
Debbie: How does fancy clothes and clean appearance alter a persons physical appearance? I could see if you said a Hair piece, that would be false. But your feel taking a shower and a nice shirt is false advertising for men?
Trevor: Still thinking about the drivers seat part of your answer. Btw, I'm not talking 6 months, I'm just talking initial attraction. Everything changes in that amount of time.
The She-Crow: I never said men don't, i asked in what ways they do.

How does a man lie about his height? with 6'' high heels like women? Seriously?

If you see a fit man in an armani suit, i doubt tomorrow morning he's gonna be a fat man in a jc penny's suit. Most men's clothing do not alter their physical appearance. Most men don't where pants that smooth out their fat thighs. Or enhance their breast. Wear makeup to hide their facial skin.

So I ask, in what ways do men do things like that? Flashing money? hair piece? Fake tatoos? what?
