...red to green p plate licenses? A while back i got a speeding fine leaving me with 3 demerit points out of a possible 5. I was told by the police officer and by many other people that my points would reset back to 5 upon transitioning from the Red P plate license to the Green P plate license. I have had greens for a month now and according to vicroads i still have 3 demerit points against my license. So are they supposed to reset upon transition or 12 months after offence date. To confirm this is in victoria, other rules are different.
