In tv shows from the 60s,70s and 80s I hear a weird sound before the canned laughter ?

The noise sounds like a crow and its fast usaully happens before the canned laughter comes on i know im not going crazy i heard it again when i was watching a bewitched episode and also heard it on a tv show called family ties.Could someone tell me what it is im hearing???
