In the UK is it a legal requirement that all eggs sold have are marked to

indicate their origin? According to Farming Today, today, on UK BBC Radio 4 at 05.45, It was reported that Derbyshire Trading Standards Dept has found a lot of wrong practice amongst egg retailers.

One was that some are selling unmarked eggs.

Is it a UK legal requirement, that ALL eggs, sold, even those sold from the premises where the eggs were laid, are required to be marked with the code that shows the origin of the egg?
