In the state of Texas, do faxed-in prescriptions have to contain the prescriber's

signature? The pharmacy I work for keeps getting prescriptions from a well-known clinic who simply put PROVIDER: [doctor's name]. On every single other fax prescription that we receive, there's an authorized e-signature (basically a photocopied signature) on it ALWAYS. This clinic tells us that by law they don't have to have a signature because the provider's name is on the prescription and it's faxed directly from their clinic. Help!!!!!
