weapons when not on duty? Scenario: Police officer takes a part time job, and carries his weapon to his part time job and uses it.
Scenario: Police officer takes a part time job as a bouncer at a bar on weekends, while working he carries his offical firearm and badge withhbim. one night a drunk bar patron became Verbally confrontational. He has every right to remove the man from the premises. as the officer escourted the man from the bar, he beat him with the butt of his gun. the man began to yell " help police", officer answered with "shut up i am the police" Is this legal, with just a verbal confritation? Shouldnt the man have just been arrested instead of beate?
