I thought when I was a child that my moms company paid 100% of our health insurance. That was in the mid 80's. Is this true? Was this normal back then. If so, why did it change. Why did the cost go up so much that employers couldnt pay it or did it really go up at all relative to GNP and inflation, etc? Was it the almighty dividend that destoyed that privelidge?
In the past, did employers use to pay 100% of an employees health insurance?
