internal politics? tribunes and consuls - don't think so
dictators and senators - don't think so
hawks and doves - no idea what this is
patricians and plebeians - i want to say it is this.

i really need help with this one! Thx :D
 
Patricians and plebeians just like you said although patricians did all the political fighting amongst each other. For example, Sulla supported the patrician senate while Marius supported the plebeian cause during their rivalry for control of the republic.
