In the Christian faith, is there a place in the Holy Scriptures aren't we told not

to talk to the dead? More specifically, and perhaps apart from the aspect of psychic business et al, is there a place in the old or new Testament that we are told NOT to speak to the dead? (humans, of course) If you know the place in scripture, that would be most helpful.
