I know that they came back with a virus and everything, but i cant seem to find why they decided to send probes out to space. I have 2 maybe maybe... 1) they send out to gather organism from outer space? 2) They were looking for biolgical weapon. ( i read this in one of the internet summary, didnt read about it, so not sure if this is it.) Please help. Thank you.
