You know how you see "the most watched show of the season" and "20 million viewers".
So my question is how does the cable company and show count viewers? Can the cable or satelite company know what channel I am tuned in at all times.
If so, What is the elapsed time that someone has to be tuned in to a channel for it to be considered a view? Because I always change the channel when it goes to commercials.
