I would like to know what a 16 seed or a 14 seed is in terms of sports, say, basketball. What do they mean by that? Are they talking about team ranking?
it is basically a ranking. during the season a seed is used to determine who makes the playoff. during the playoffs a seed is used to determine who in each round.
