a 'synonym dictionary'? I have a 'library' application that uses RDF to add metadata to the items in the catalog. The app's search engine uses the RDF to filter what to display in the search results. An example problem is that if an item is marked as 'physician' it does not appear in the search results for a search on 'doctor'.
I would like to be able to automatically add synonyms to the metadata contained in the RDF using some kind of 'synonym dictionary'. Does doing this using RDF make sense? Does anyone have any examples?
