In Photoshop, how do you reduce an image size to smaller than 10kb?

When I save it, it gives me the option of quality to save it at, but the smallest I can get it to is 18kb and i need it smaller than that to upload to a website. Any ideas? thanks!

Open your pic in Photoshop, go to the Image menu, go down to "Image Size." Change the actual image size and resolution (I'd keep it at least 72 dpi) until you get to the size you want. Save as JPG at a medium to low quality.

It does depend on how you save it. "Save as" does give you the option to set compression, but what you want is "Save for Web" (Alt+Shift+Crtl+S) That is designed specifically for web use, and gives a much smaller size.

10kb?.. I think you are making a mistake, 10kb is ridiculously small. A lot of websites require the image to be 1MB, not 10kb (1024kb in 1MB)
