I was just kind of unsure of the definition of the above.
I also wanted to add, how important are UV and Polarizing filters. I've seen that polarizing filters make the sun seem less harsh and make the sky look really nice. I have a UV filter and it doesn't seem to do anything except protect my lens, I know it obviously has a purpose (filtering UV) but would I notice the difference?
