In photo editing, how can two pictures be overlapped on top of each other to become

one full length picture? In photo editing, how can two pictures be overlapped on top of each other - not inserted - and what program is needed? I have 2 pieces of a Totem Pole to make into one long picture and have only Paint, Photo2Album Image, and Lexmark Image programs. My Kodak Imaging in Windows 2000 just stopped working. Now it only opens as a Bright White Page...If Kodak Imaging was fixed, could it be used?
