My dad no longer works because he's going to be retired in a few years. All he really does is manage a few cattle. His CPA told him it wasn't worth filing a tax return this year, but I was wondering if that was going to hurt my chances of getting financial aid? I already did FAFSA and I just got back a form from the college I'm going to attend, Arkansas Tech University, to verify stuff. and one of my friends told me if he hadn't filed than I wasn't going to get any money back..... but I don't know if they know what they're talking about.
In order to receive financial aid, does my father have to file a federal tax report?
