In Ontario, CAN, does an employer have the right to discuss why you've been terminated?

If yes, under what conditions? The Government of Canada is not at liberty to discuss the answer to this, apparently, so if someone knows of a labour lawyer (or any other lawyer who would deal with this) from Ontario willing to answer this q, it would be great if you could link me their contact info. Thanks very much.
