In October I had sex with this guy...a few days after I texted him and asked

him why he didn't use a condom? he said that it was because he didn't have anything and because I was a virgin he said he knew that I didn't have anything either. We only had sex for like a minute because it was my first time. He didn't cum or anything. A few day's later I got a yeast infection. I treated it and it went away but then after my period I got it again. (I don't know if this has anything to do with it but I started wearing tampons after we had sex) I keep getting it. I'm thinking that because I wear thongs and maybe the tampons keep bringing it back. I went to the doctor in January and he said that it was a yeast infection, he gave me a prescription to take before and after my period. I went back to the doctor (a different one) and she said that it was a little red on the outside and she told me to try Monistat cream. It's a 7 day thing and so far it is really helping (I'm only on day 3). The symptoms have gone away except for an occasional itch (I am back to wearing thongs though?) She did a culture to check for any STD's and it came back negative. The nurse told me that it couldn't be herpes because I would have had a wart or something like that during the first 2 weeks that would have been extremely painful. I never had that. I'm the kind of person who over reacts and now I'm thinking I could have HIV but I only have one of the symptoms and it goes away with treatment. I just want to be able to sleep tonight. I am going to get tested for both HIV and herpes tomorrow but I need some reassurance. If I only have one symptom that is can go away with treatment but comes back (it could just be the thongs or tampons) it can't be HIV right?
Also, can stress cause yeast infections to come back? I am constantly stressed out.
Oh gosh can it be the stress that triggered it? I thought I was pregnant and I was absolutely freaking out can that be it?
