Hello-Recently my BF has been convicted of his third dui. For those who don't know it is 180 days jail or 90 days jail and 90 days rehab along with 10 years with out a license. I am devasted by this. He has a very good job, technology director for a very large hotel chain. We are all worried he will lose his job before and/or after the jail time. I would like to know if he can take a leave absence for 6 mos for jail and not get fired. Also, if anyone knows...is there is a way the jail time can get reduced...for example getting out early for good behavior, etc. Any information would help me put my mind to rest!!
In NJ can you take a leave of absence from work to serve jail time?
