I understand the value of a good name for a studio. Don't get me wrong...I believe the quality of the work should be the attraction to the studio but there is something in a name that can certainly help attract business. Here in lies my dilemma...I have read allot of posts that recommend your name + photography. The problem is I have a tricky last name and don't want to scare anyone away based on the discomfort of proper pronunciation. On top of that, I will be living working and doing the bulk of my business on an Island, so it seems like a wasted opportunity not to take advantage of being able to use something Islandy in the name. I am drawing an enormous blank here...HELP!!!
