IN need of hip hop

Here are a few albums that are excellent quality hip-hop.

Jurassic 5 - Quality Control
Jurassic 5 - Feedback
RJD2 - Loose EnRAB
RJD2 - Since we last spoke
RJD2 - Deadringer
Opio - Triangulation Station
Breakestra - Hit the floor
Diplo - Sound and Fury

for that live feel, it's kinda old but never duplicated i really recommend the roots CD "do you want more" and especially tracks 'proceed' and datskat, and whatever track 11 is called, brain fart right now.

oh and by the way, all the roots stuff is just as good.

mos def's CD's are both good, and he's got a b-sides and remix collection in europe called "we are hip-hop, you me everybody"

common's entire career, excluding electric circus, though his track with stereo lab on that disc was sweet to me.

blackalicious: NIA, and Blazing arrow

Plus one on J5, but the middle CD, power in numbers was good too. just not as great as quality control.

as far as new stuff, not much new stuff gets to me. Lupe sounRAB good, hip hop is lacking variety, which is worse than lacking creativity. If i have to hear one more idiot barking into a microphone, i'm breaking my radio.

Immortal Technique - Dance With The Devil
Immortal Technique - Dominant Species
Aesop Rock - 6B Panorama
Aesop Rock - Basic Cable
Aesop Rock - Babies With Guns
Cannibal Ox - Painkillers

and by the way im new here still, hopefully this post isn't breaking any piracy rules or something.

I posted this in the Kid Cudi thread ("Day and Night" is a ridiculous song BTW) but I haven't felt this excited about the new breed of hip hop artists in years. They seem to be influenced by 10000 different things and are trying to put it all together. Here's a few of my favorites:

Jay Electronica - Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind freestyle:
[y]tGr7XTB5Ddc[/y]

The Cool KiRAB - Gold and a Pager
[y]ovmP5XvjrMY&feature=related[/y]

Black Milk - Long Story Short
[y]MUM_q58bWe0[/y]

B.O.B. - I'll Be In the Sky
[y]rFVIpiiaf6M[/y]

Shad - I Heard You Had a Voice Like an Angel
[y]h4XrSHK9dp4[/y]

Wale - The Artistic Integrity
[y]R64Zx2-CinU[/y]

Immortal Technique - The Point of No Return, Peruvian Cocaine, Harlem Streets, Harlem Renaissance
Eazy-E - Real Mothafukkin' G's
Jurassic 5 - Freedom, What's Golden
Murs - You and I, Got Damned?, What Do You Know
N.W.A - Alwayz Into Somethin'
Nas - Halftime
Atmosphere - GodLovesUgly, Blamegame, The River

Black Milk's production on Tronic was fantastic. He made everything sound old and new at the same time. I love his drums - they are as raw as drums were in the 90's.
