Okay Im having an issue with my honda.
Before this happened my water pump went out, and I did a water pump, timing belt replacement, along with all the other serpintine belts. Then I replaced my thermostat becuase it went out, and a few weeks later my Radiator cracked, So I replaced it and any supect water hoses.
Okay heres what happens next.
1. My idle started acting really weird, Surging, dropping, which is common from a valve or sensor issue. Or water in coolant, or many other things.
2. Then a few days later my idle sticks at 2000rpm going down to about 1500rpm at lowest (When clutch is in).
***I tried bleeding the coolant lines thinking there was air. I checked all the valves, (beside EGR Valve) the fitv, IAVC, and i checked my throttle body, and fully cleaned all the components of it, and the valves, (which werent really dirty in the first place.)
3. Now my cooling fans are not kicking in properly when driving, causing my car to over heat slightly. To about 3/4 of the way up at most.
*****Does this sound like a Water Temp Sensor thats gone out? An Oxygen sensor? Plug in cooling line? (doesnt sound realistic but idk). Theres No white smoke so i dont think it could be from a head gasket leak causing the coolant not to cycle. ...
Does anyone know where else i should check, or things to fix with out just throwing parts at it?
***Id take it to a shop but im a 20 year old college student, and yeah./ Not in the budget!!!
Ive done all these above replacements by myself, Im almost posotive They couldnt have been done wrong, causing problems to occur. The idle problem didnt start until about two weeks after all the others parts were replaced. It ran good until then?
