Personally, I think they'll be fine. So they won't have factory support? That doesn't mean the teams won't be allowed to run the Chevy moniker. Think if it this way: If I go to a Chevy dealership and buy one of their cars, that is the factory stock car. But if I were to replace those stock parts and turn it into a race car using my own money, Chevrolet had nothing to do with that, so Chevy did not support my efforts. That's basically what's happening here, in a nut shell. The owners are just building a race car and slapping the Chevy moniker on it.
