...only way to get it off? is to kill the engine and restart it. I assume this reboots the computer that controls it? I've never actually used the engine compression feature, and I'm not sure why it is engaging itself like this. If the problem is serious, what do you think it might cost to correct it? I'm not in the position to buy a new or almost new car right now
