In media, why is violence so acceptable and nudity so frowned upon?
Particularly in the main stream entertainment industry of movies and tv, violence is an accepted feature, it is normally quite graphic and disturbing whereas nudity (particularly male nudity) is rare. A nude person is surely less of a negative influence on society than someone getting shot. And when there is some nudity 99% of the time it will be a woman. What about something for us girls. The only movie i can remember of recent years with male nudity was "sex in the city" and that was a mere glimpse, why can't we have more (tasteful) male full frontal nudity. And i'm not talking about porn - that is not tasteful.
