What are your top 5 JP albums (in order, please)
**BTW..... Why do people rave over British Steel so much? Breaking the Law and Living After Midnight were the most blatant sellouts of Priest career, purely aimed at Radio and Mtv. I grew up on Metal in the 80s and it was those albums that kept me from becoming a Priest fan... until AFTER Painkiller.
BQ: And top 10 Judas Priest tracks?
MY TOP 5
5) JUGULATOR (1997)
-Yes, high heresy... I like a non Halford album. But then, since I'm not a homer, I can admit when someone kicks butt and takes names. This ain't Blaze replacing Dickinson for Maiden.. this is one of the most amazing singers ever in Metal... replacing one of the most amazing singers ever in Metal. I'll go one step further... on "'98 Live Meltdown" I actually prefer Owens renditions of Painkiller and Diamonds and Rust to Robs. Plus I just like the heavier sound on Jugulator.
4) Killing Machine/ Hell bent for Leather (1978)
3) Stained Class (1978)
2) Sin After Sin (1977)
-Utter classic.
1) PAINKILLER (1990)
-Judas Priest at their most blazingly Metal. After a solid decade of Mediocre commercialized "Semi-Metal", they returned to the fold with this classic. I find it to be the one album even NON-Priest fans consider must have Metal.
"Suggested Category: All Categories > Entertainment & Music > Music > Rap and Hip Hop"
Okay then......................................... I guess that is closer than Gay and Lesbian, but.....wow Y!A fails.
@Ape... totally understood. Sad Wings is number 6 for me, I would have probably rated it higher, but I realized that I listen to Jugulator way more, so I woulda been lying.
