In layman's terms - how to integrate a Wordpress blog into a static HTML site?

I'm more on the visual end of web design, but I can do enough HTML/CSS to get me some side work. My client would like a Wordpress blog integrated into their static HTML site. It's a 19 page site and I cannot write PHP, so converting all of the files isn't exactly an option. They are interested in SEO so an iframe isn't the solution - and I don't know the first thing about RSS feeds.

Can someone please explain to me how this works and give me a push in the right direction?
