I want to film a movie and someone told me if you have a camera that can shoot 24p, it will give you the film look. The only problem is some cameras say 24p and others say native 24p. I really want to get into movies(I'm currently still in highschool) and the problem is I don't know much about cameras. So my question is, what is the difference between 24p native and just simply 24p or 24p progressive scan. I don't know much about cameras and I desperatley need help with this. Also can anyone give me the name of a book or website that will teach me alot I need to know about Digital cameras, sound, lighting, etc, when it comes to movies. I just don't know where I need to go when it comes to cameras.
