jvc is a love hate deal some people who hav them have no problems at all and some do so i had one and i hated it but my friend loved his. i have a pioneer deck now and it is def a good deal for the money i have never had any trouble with mine. sony don'tt get it. they don't use the same watt scale as other car audio company but alpine would be ur best bet but they are a little more pricy just dont get a sony deck or any sony car audio in general alpine is the best for ipod connectivity though. control ur ipod threw ur deck very cool feature
