what unit has earned your respect? either as an effective fighting force or as an effective defensive force? for me, the Cavalry (mounted riflemen) have earned my respect for winning a war for me in only 4 turns (this was before i could get tanks, modern armor, marines, or planes). dont say modern armor, mech infantry or nukes because those are the best offensive and defensive units in the game
