Let's say a person thinks they have done a proper exchange or unwittingly walks out of the store without paying. It is unintentional What AZ case law or statute could be used to help a person to not be convicted?
All good answers and how I would look at it. First of all, it is not me so thanks for judging! Second, it is a class I am taking and it is hyopthetica. The guy left a return case of food in a cart marked for donations thinking it was for shelving and took another case to the door where he was stopped. I know the AZ statute, just curious if a similar case had develped or at least one where someone did accidently walk out with an item. Of course the moral thing would be to go back and pay-again it is pretend and the person did not leave the store.
