It's for this story title that sprung to mind one evening called "A Thread of Silver Shadows". Within it, there's this magical object/thing I made up. It's basically a silver thread that renders certain magical powers to whatever it's sewn into. The thread can't be destroyed nor can whatever it is sewn into be destroyed. It's primary effect is the gift of superhuman strength to anything. It can be sewn into anything from a cloth, sword, plant, animal, or even person and still work. Other affects are relatively unknown other than that it works on humans slightly differently giving unknown side-effects. That's all I have planned for it except for a possible series title with A Thread of Silver Shadows being Book 1 and the series being called The Weaver King. The hero can become that in the end either by being a weaver by trade or a Trader and somehow he ends up with the thread. There's a bad guy who wants it of course and it's a fantasy story. So what do you think? Is there any hope for this crazy idea of mine? Or is it totally cliche and steroetyped? Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a ton in advance!
